May 2026 Updates

This release puts more of the live presentation experience in your hands — better backdrops, better cues, and smoother behavior when the Wi-Fi drops.

Better backdrop picker

The presentation backdrop picker now supports uploading your own videos as backgrounds and searching Pexels for both photos and video. Find a vibe, drop it on a slide, you're done.

Notes pane in the presentation

A new sticky notes pane sits alongside the presentation so it stays visible while the slides run. On mobile, a dedicated toggle keeps it tucked away until you need it.

Keep working when your connection drops

Recently used songs, setlists, and presentations now stay available when you go offline, with a clear indicator in the app when you're disconnected. Editing and adding content while offline isn't recommended — but changes will try to synchronize when the connection returns.

Style songs and plain text independently

Song and text style controls in the presentation editor are now separate, so you can tune each kind of content differently. Text cards also get new formatting controls.

Also in this release

Pexels video previews play on hover so you can audition a clip before picking it, and background videos in the preview screen now load only when you press play — saving bandwidth while you browse; line breaks on slides are tidier with fewer single-word orphan lines; you'll get a confirmation prompt before removing an uploaded image or video; deleting a song or media file now cleans up its files in storage too; and app updates install quietly in the background, so you're always on the latest version.
