Account Settings
Your personal Song7 configuration. Set it up the way you like.
Your Profile
Display Name
This is how other team members see you:
- Go to Account & Settings
- Edit your display name
- Save changes
Profile Picture
Add a photo so your team recognizes you:
- Click on your profile picture area
- Upload an image
- Adjust if needed
- Save
Email Preferences
Control what emails you get from Song7:
- Go to Account & Settings → Email Preferences
- Toggle the types of notifications you want
- Save your choices
You'll still get important emails about your account, like password resets or subscription changes.
Email and Password
Change Your Email
- Go to Account & Settings
- Find the email section
- Enter your new email
- Verify it
Update Your Password
- Go to Account & Settings → Email and Password
- Enter your current password
- Choose a new password
- Save
Using Google sign-in? Manage your password through your Google account instead.
Color Theme
Make Song7 look the way you like:
- Go to Account & Settings → Color Theme
- Pick your colors for light mode
- Pick your colors for dark mode
- Preview how they look on songs
- Save when you're happy
Personalize your experience without affecting anyone else's view.
Subscription
Each space has its own plan. You can create spaces for free and upgrade any of them independently — so one space can be on a paid plan while another stays free. Billing is managed inside each space, not on your account.
Upgrade a space
- Open the space, go to Settings → Billing
- Choose a plan — you'll be taken to secure checkout (powered by Stripe)
- The space's limits (members, songs, storage) update right away
Only the space owner can manage a space's billing.
See all your spaces and plans
Account & Settings → Subscription lists every space you own with its current plan, and links to each space's Billing tab. From there, Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can update payment info, view billing history, and upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any of your spaces' subscriptions in one place.
Canceling a space? It keeps its plan until the billing period ends, then drops to the free plan and free-tier limits apply.
Delete Your Account
Need to leave Song7?
- Remove yourself from spaces you're a member of
- Go to Account & Settings
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm
Deleting your account automatically cancels the subscription on every space you own (those spaces are deleted too).
Important: Spaces you created will be deleted too, and your team will lose access. Consider transferring ownership first.
Quick Tips
Profile picture - A clear photo or avatar helps your team recognize you quickly.
Email preferences - Turn off what you don't need, but keep set notifications on if you're actively playing.
Theme colors - Play around until you find colors that work for you. Easy on the eyes matters.
Before leaving - Export your song library and transfer space ownership if others depend on your spaces.
